Enrollment

Sahel Academy admits boys and girls of any race, color, or nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities made available to students at the school. The school reserves the right to operate as a Christian institution and to develop policies consistent with the religious tenets of its sponsoring mission agencies.

Priority is given to the children of missionaries with up to 30% non-mission enrollment. Families may begin the enrollment process in January. General admission to the school will close on September 1.

However, students may be accepted if the following criteria are met:

  • The student is coming from a North American or European school.
  • The student is an English speaker.
  • The student is a good fit for our school as shown by admission testing results and family interview.  As for our primary beneficiaries, admissions will be open year round to mission families.

Applicants who are in Niamey can stop by the Sahel Academy front office and pick up an application form. Applicants who are not yet in Niamey may download the application form, complete it, and send it to registrar@sahelacademy.com. Any questions should be sent to this address as well.
