Service & Leadership

Community Service

As Sahel students grow in relationship with God, we want to nurture within them an ability to see the world through his eyes and a heart to serve within their sphere of influence. All students in Grades 9-12 are involved in community service. Whether they lend their hands to put on a new roof, organize a library, help lead youth group, or play and interact with children at an orphanage, our students experience the joy of giving of their time and talents to others.

Leadership

It is a joy for us to come alongside our Sahel students as they discover their God-given gifts and talents. We are particularly passionate about developing our student leaders. Each year, students have the opportunity to participate in Student Council and class government, whose focus is to foster unity through serving the community. Secondary students also have opportunities to lead as they participate in worship, community service, outreach, and mentoring teams.
